RC Drones – Miniature Surveillance Planes

The full-size drone has been used by the military for the past 40+ years, and the world of remote controlled aircraft has likewise developed RC drones for the enthusiast. The military airplanes are flown as a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and fitted with surveillance cameras that send the picture back to the pilot on the ground, just as with the remote controlled model.

The UAV model may be a plane or helicopter. It has hovering capabilities to scan an area for a more detailed view. Your plane may produce its own Wi-Fi network, allowing you to maneuver your plane from an iPhone or iPad, and view what the aircraft cameras see as it flies up to 10 feet above the ground. RC drones can be flown inside as well as outside, but you run the risk of having more accidents inside where there are more things for your aircraft to run into.
